We're looking for 1 x FT and 1 x Casual chef w/ Japanese cuisine experience, a positive attitude, and can work in a fast-paced & dynamic environment!

As a Chef De Partieat Robata, your day-to-day in our busy kitchen will involve:

Assisting with food preparation and cooking across various sections of the kitchen

Following recipes and plating guidelines to ensure consistency and quality

Maintaining high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety

Setting up and packing down workstations efficiently

Restocking supplies and assisting with deliveries

Communicating clearly with the team to support smooth kitchen operations

Taking direction from senior chefs and being open to feedback and training

Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment

We’re looking for someone with:

Full-time, flexible availability over Summer — including evenings and weekends

Unrestricted working rights in Australia

Minimum 12 months’ experience in a fast-paced, premium commercial kitchen with Japanese cuisine experience

Strong time management and the ability to work under pressure

A genuine passion for food and the hospitality industry

Solid knife skills and confidence working in an open kitchen

Experience with grilling techniques (charcoal or wood) — a bonus

Experience with Japanesecuisine — also a bonus

A desire to learn, grow, and build on your qualifications in Commercial Cookery

A collaborative attitude and willingness to be part of a supportive team environment
