Responsibilities

• CHEFS: Lead and manage kitchen operations, contribute to menu creation, prepare, and present dishes to a high standard, oversee stock control, and ensure food safety and hygiene standards are consistently maintained.
• COOKS: Food preparation, cooking, plating, and maintaining a clean and organised workspace. Assist with stock rotation, cleaning schedules, and supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience (2 years preferred) as a Chef/Cook in a busy hotel, restaurant, cafe, or hospitality environment.
• Highly developed culinary skills and a genuine passion for food and customer satisfaction.
• Ability to handle pressure in a professional and calm manner during peak service times.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Hold relevant qualifications (Diploma or equivalent for Chefs and Certificate IV or equivalent for Cooks).
• Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices (HACCP desirable).
• Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays, and peak seasonal periods as required.
