A Christian care organization in Melbourne is seeking a Chaplaincy & Spiritual Care Manager to lead the spiritual care team. You will inspire staff, embed Christian values, and support diverse communities. Ideal candidates will have a relevant degree, significant pastoral experience, and a commitment to promoting spiritual wellbeing across the organisation. The role offers hybrid working options and focuses on collaboration within a faith-driven environment.
Model Christian leadership and lead a team of Chaplains and Spiritual Care Coordinators who provide effective person‑centred spiritual care based on Christian faith and values to clients, residents, inmates, patients and their families, staff and volunteers irrespective of cultural background, gender, sexuality, denomination, faith tradition or beliefs.
The Chaplaincy and Spiritual Care team delivers holistic spiritual, emotional and relational support across BaptistCare. Operating nationally we partner with churches and faith‑based communities to foster wellbeing and ensure chaplaincy and pastoral care are central to our services. While we approach our work from a Christian perspective our Chaplains are committed to supporting the spiritual wellbeing of everyone within BaptistCare regardless of their faith or non‑faith background.
