Job summary

Water Corporation invites a Change Implementation Specialist to lead and support high‑impact business improvement and change projects across the organisation. You will partner with operational teams and subject matter experts to deliver outcomes that are practical and sustainable, coordinating cross‑functional teams and embedding change effectively.

Success relies on engaging stakeholders at all levels, driving risk‑aware plans, and maintaining collaboration within large multidisciplinary teams

Qualifications

• Degree in business, commerce and/or marketing or PROSCI accreditation
• Experience delivering complex change or transformation initiatives in large organisations
• Strong project management capability and change management understanding

About The Role

As a Change Implementation Specialist, you will lead and support high impact business improvement and change projects, partnering with operational teams, leaders, and subject matter experts to deliver successful outcomes.

You will be responsible for managing project delivery, coordinating cross-functional teams, developing implementation strategies, mitigating risks, contingency planning and ensuring change is embedded effectively across the business.

Success in this role requires someone who can confidently engage stakeholders at all levels, influence outcomes, an innovative thinker and work collaboratively within large multidisciplinary teams to achieve project deliverables.

What The Role Will Involve

In this role, you will lead the delivery of business improvement and operational change initiatives that drive efficiency, innovation, and organisational success.

Working closely with stakeholders across multiple business functions, you will build strong relationships and facilitate collaboration between operational teams, project sponsors, and subject matter experts to achieve shared goals.

You will develop and implement effective change management and communication strategies, coordinate large cross‑functional project teams, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities Include

• monitoring project performance, risks, budgets, and contingency planning
• preparing project reports, business cases, and progress updates for senior leadership
• supporting the successful embedding and long‑term sustainability of project outcomes
• fostering a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, and innovation across the organisation.

Your Skills And Experience

• Relevant degree in business, commerce and/or marketing or PROSCI accredited, project management qualifications
• Experience delivering complex change or transformation initiatives within large organisations
• Strong project management capability and understanding of change management frameworks
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
• Experience with confidence in establishing and maintaining strong working relationships across diverse teams and business functions
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within large, multidisciplinary project teams to achieve shared deliverables and outcomes
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organisational abilities
• Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining attention to detail
• Valid C Class Driver’s Licence
