Job summary

Pml Logistics Group in Australia’s Western Australia region is seeking a skilled Vehicle Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, repair and maintain a fleet of vehicles for safe, efficient operation. You will perform routine servicing, fault finding, and component repairs in a busy workshop.

You must have a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology, a valid driver's license, and the ability to read technical manuals. Forklift ticket and own toolbox are preferred.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Proven experience as vehicle mechanic.
• Forklift ticket.
• Ability to read technical manuals and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, repair and maintain vehicles to ensure safe operation.
• Perform routine servicing including oil changes, brakes, tires and fluids.
• Diagnose faults using diagnostic tools and relevant equipment.
• Repair or replace faulty components such as engines, transmissions, suspension and steering.
• Conduct safety inspections and test vehicles after repairs.
• Keep accurate service records and documentation.
• Follow manufacturer specifications and workplace procedures.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and tools.
