Twin Rivers Food Outlet in Logan City is offering a full-time, one-year retail traineeship that combines hands-on store experience with completing a nationally recognised Certificate III in Retail.

The role involves customer service, stock handling, merchandising and POS duties, with training across warehouse, shop floor and administration. You will join a team focused on learning, development and community impact.

Qualifications

• Previous retail or warehouse experience is an advantage but not essential.
• Qualifications or experience in forklift operation, HR truck driving, WHS, retail, warehousing or first aid will be highly regarded.

Responsabilités

• Provide exceptional customer service and assistance to customers.
• Assist key leaders with tasks and training of other employees.
• Perform duties across the warehouse, shop floor, freezers, cold room and administration as required.
• Stock receiving, control and replenishment.
• Merchandising and maintaining store presentation.
• Cash register and point-of-sale operations.
• Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming store environment.
• Work as part of a team to support day-to-day operations.
• Complete the theory component of your certificate within work hours.
• Participate in training sessions and team meetings.

This Retail Traineeship at Twin Rivers Food Outlet is an exciting opportunity for a reliable and motivated individual to kick-start their career in the retail industry while gaining valuable, hands-on experience in a busy grocery store environment.

This is a full-time, one-year traineeship that combines practical workplace experience with the completion of a nationally recognised Certificate III in Retail.

KEY RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Providing exceptional customer service and assistance to customers
• Assisting key leaders with tasks and supporting the training of other employees
• Performing duties across various areas, including the warehouse, shop floor, freezers, cold room, and administration, as required
• Stock receiving, control and replenishment
• Merchandising and maintaining store presentation
• Cash register and point-of-sale operations
• Maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming store environment
• Working as part of a team to support the day-to-day operations of the Food Outlet
• Complete the theory component of your certificate for your traineeship within work hours in a timely manner
• Actively participating in training sessions and team meetings

ABOUT YOU:

• Previous experience in retail or warehouse environments is an advantage, but not essential.
• Relevant qualifications or experience in forklift operation, HR truck driving, WHS, retail, warehousing or first aid will be highly regarded.

• The ability to multi-task, problem-solve and adapt in a busy environment.
