Certificate III & Diploma Trained Educator

Our client is located in the Yarriambiack Shire Council, Victoria near Horsham. This is a brand new 57 place purpose built centre which opened in January 2025. The centre will provide the community with Three‑Year‑Old and Four‑Year‑Old Kindergarten programs as well as long day care. The centre will have outdoor play areas as well as a community space for local child and family services such as maternal and child health consulting.

About the Roles

We have Two full time Diploma Educator roles, one full time Certificate 3 educator and a Part time 0.8 FTE position.

Salary Band

Diploma Qualified Educator - $69,692 - $75,417 per year

Certificate 3 Educator - $53,865 - $65,916 per year (Pro Rata)

Key duties for all roles will include:

• Support the team to deliver high-quality early childhood education, guided by evidence-informed contemporary pedagogy and practice
• Contributing to the planning and implementing the educational program, monitoring children's progress, and supporting their social, emotional, and cognitive development
• Promoting a positive and supportive team culture
• Ensure high level of child supervision and meet children's needs
• Ensuring the centre meets safety and compliance standards
• Able to demonstrate the values of responsiveness, integrity, impartiality, accountability, respect, leadership and human rights

Qualifications

• Certificate Ⅲ and/or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent (mandatory)
• Working With Children's Check (WWCC)
• Clear International / National Police Check
• First Aid, Asthma, CPR & Anaphylaxis Certificate
• Food Safety Training
• Mandatory Reporting and Other Obligations Certificate

About you

• Sound understanding of the EYLF and good early childhood practices
• Experience working towards (and achieving) targets as well as meeting safety and compliance standards
• Strong communication skills with children, families, the community and the team within the centre
• Ability to work within a flexible and changing environment
• Willing to create and support a culture of collaboration by building effective relationships
