Job summary

Kingston City Council is seeking a Certificate 3 Early Years Educator to support high-quality, child-safe early childhood programs at Family and Children’s Centres. Roles operate on a rotating roster with shifts from early morning to evening, across Carrum, Edithvale or Parkdale, with full-time and part-time opportunities and competitive conditions.

Qualifications

• Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent)
• Current Employee Working with Children check
• Level 2 First Aid, including Asthma & Anaphylaxis management and CPR

Responsibilities

• Supervise children and ensure safety during learning experiences and routines
• Provide a safe, caring and inclusive environment for all children
• Contribute positively to team culture and collaboration
• Build strong relationships with children, families and team members
• Work with leaders, families, children and the community
• Adhere to National Quality Standards, Regulations and EYLF
• Assist in implementing high-quality program activities
