In this role, you will:

  • Lead, inspire, and support your team to deliver exceptional care.
  • Design and implement a high‑quality educational program based on Buttercups Pedagogy Standards.
  • Foster strong, positive relationships with families and the wider community.
  • Participate in the organisation and setting up of the centre, including staff recruitment.
  • Oversee the day‑to‑day running of the centre with a focus on excellence and compliance.
  • Create a safe, nurturing environment that promotes children’s well‑being and development.
  • Cultivate a fun, supportive, and inclusive workplace that your team will love.

What you bring to the table:

  • A Bachelor of Education or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA approved equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a Centre Manager or 2IC role, showcasing leadership and operational expertise.
  • A deep understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Standards, and Education and Care Regulations.
  • Exceptional leadership and mentoring abilities.
  • Knowledge of CCS compliance and proficiency navigating CCS software. Experience with Xplor and OWNA is highly regarded.
  • A current First Aid certificate, WWCC, and Police Clearance (or the ability to obtain at onboarding).
