Village Early Education is thrilled to be opening a brand-new, purpose-built centre in Croydon, Melbourne, and we are seeking an experienced and passionate Centre Manager / Nominated Supervisor to lead our team from January 2026.

As the Centre Manager, you will be instrumental in the successful opening and ongoing leadership of our new Croydon service. You will oversee daily operations, compliance, educational programs, and team culture, ensuring the centre launches smoothly and thrives long‑term.

Oversee all aspects of day‑to‑day operations and ensure full compliance with the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.
Establish processes and environments aligned with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and support the service in meeting Quality Areas 3, 6, and 7.
Lead, mentor, and develop a strong team of Community Leaders, an Administrative Assistant, and educators.
Foster a collaborative and engaged team culture built on communication, trust, and shared vision.
Drive recruitment strategies and select high‑quality educators.
Support professional development, performance growth, and long‑term staff retention.
Conduct centre tours, convert enquiries to enrolments, and maintain ongoing relationships with families.
Create a welcoming, supportive environment where parents feel confident and connected.
Oversee the centre budget, monitor financial performance, and report on occupancy, compliance, and service outcomes.
Implement robust safety procedures and collaborate with relevant authorities to ensure the centre is safe, compliant, and well‑maintained.
Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA‑approved equivalent).
Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis, and Emergency Asthma training.
Valid Working With Children Check or VIT Registration.
Accredited Child Protection Training.
Minimum 3 years as a Nominated Supervisor or 5 years in a senior leadership role within an early childhood service.
Strong understanding of CCS, Arrival (Kindergarten Compliance), and compliance systems/software.
Demonstrated ability to lead high‑performing teams, manage service operations, and implement quality improvement strategies.
Proven experience in budgeting, occupancy management, and maintaining NQF compliance.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in managing parent partnerships, addressing concerns, and leading teams.
