About the Company

Minlaton Family Centre is a family-owned Long Day Care service located in the welcoming community of Minlaton on South Australia’s Yorke Peninsula. Since opening in July 2024, the Centre has quickly become known for its warm, home-like atmosphere, quality education, and strong community ties. Guided by a Reggio Emilia–inspired philosophy, each child’s individuality and curiosity are celebrated. Under the guidance of a part-time Community Services Manager, the Centre also hosts weekly playgroups and offers families access to visiting health professionals, supporting the wellbeing of children and the broader community.

About the Role

As the Centre Director, you will lead a dedicated team of educators ranging from trainees to senior leaders and be supported by two administrative staff members as well as an RTO trainer who will conduct regular onsite visits to provide training and guidance, ensuringyou have the resources and backing to succeed. This position is offered on a permanent, full-time basis with flexibility and relocation support available.

Skills & Experience

Minimum Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA approved)

At least three-years as a Nominated Supervisor or five-years in a leadership role within Early Childhood Education

Experience mentoring and developing educators at all levels

Comprehensive knowledge of NQF, EYLF, MTOP, CCS, and WHS legislation

Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills

Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis, Asthma, and RRHAN-EC Masterclass Training (Child Protection)

Current Working with Children Check
