Job summary

Mayfield Childcare Limited is seeking a Centre Cook for Pebble Patch Early Learning Centre in Cranbourne. This permanent part-time role runs Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 2:00 pm, with flexible hours to fit your life.

You will plan and prepare nutritious meals for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years, manage the kitchen to health and safety standards, and contribute to a warm, supportive team. Benefits include weekends off, a family-friendly environment, and enrolment-fee discounts.

Qualifications

• Passion for cooking and providing nutritious meals for children ages 6 weeks–6 years.
• Experience in meal planning, kitchen management, and food preparation.
• Understanding of dietary restrictions and allergies.
• A team player who loves engaging with children, families, and staff.
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
• First Aid in an education setting (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Cooking up wholesome, tasty meals that children will love.
