Job summary

Woolworths Group in Central Queensland seeks a Facilities Manager to lead the delivery of facilities maintenance across Bundaberg, Gladstone, Childers and Biloela stores, based in Gladstone. You will manage roughly 150 team members, coach a diverse workforce, and own end-to-end financial accountability for services in the designated stores.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in commercial supermarkets.
• Ability to navigate complex work environments and deliver outcomes.
• Strong leadership experience managing large and diverse teams.
• Stakeholder management experience with the ability to build relationships.
• Experience or knowledge of essential services, refrigeration, air conditioning, or electrical systems (highly regarded).

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of all Facilities Maintenance services within the designated group of stores to a high standard.
• Manage a mid-level leadership group, internal technicians, and external service providers.
• Oversee end-to-end financial accountability for Facilities & Maintenance services.
• Deliver proactive maintenance strategies to drive efficient services.
• Maintain a safe site for everyone by implementing safe work practices and monitoring safety.
• Conduct routine health checks to ensure compliance and operational readiness.
