Job summary

BlueCare in Bundaberg seeks a Central Kitchen Manager to lead the Bundaberg Production Kitchen, delivering Cook Chill meals for residents and customers across two facilities, up to 650 meals per day. You will drive quality, food safety, and menu development with the Resident Experience Manager, and lead kitchen teams, including recruitment, training and performance management.

A senior culinary leader with 3–5 years in large-scale food service and relevant cookery qualifications is required;

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in large-scale food service operations.
• Experience with Cook Chill systems and institutional facilities.
• Current open driver licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of Bundaberg Central Production Kitchen.
• Drive quality, food safety, and compliance across kitchen operations.
• Partner with Resident Experience Manager to develop nutritious, resident-focused menus.
