Job summary

Meyer Corporation is seeking a dedicated driver/warehouse associate to efficiently transport products and interoffice mail between Meyer facilities, with safe, on-time pickups and deliveries.

Responsibilities include daily vehicle inspections, loading and unloading with material handling equipment, operating RF scanners, stocking and labeling merchandise, and assisting other departments. This role requires a valid driver's license and DOT-compliant duties, with flexible shifts including overtime.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak in English to meet DOT requirements.
• Must possess organizational skills and be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Transport product and mail as scheduled in a timely and efficient manner.
• Inspect vehicles daily for safety and overall operation.
• Safely load and unload products using material handling equipment.
• Maintain the safe operation of assigned equipment.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections per FMCSR and Company Policy.
• Service truck with fuel, wiper blades, oil, and other basics as outlined by company.
• Move empty or full containers/trailers to doors as requested by Receiving/Traffic Departments.
• Assist in training new drivers on Meyer Corporation equipment.
• Assist other departments with material handling during slow times.
• Fully understand RF Scanners operations.
• Assist with picking and loading merchandise.
• Locate, pick, unload, and label merchandise using MHE.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
