Job summary

Leidos Australia is seeking an experienced instructor to deliver and coordinate robust training packages as part of developing ab-initio trainees, primarily based at Kapooka, Wagga Wagga NSW. The role includes coordinating LAND 2110 group-based programs and contributing to training material development.

You will travel across Australia to support training activities, bring expertise in CBRND competencies, and mentor teammates while maintaining safety-critical standards.

Qualifications

• Great experiences in training delivery and development.
• Demonstrated experience with performance management and trainee mentorship.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and execute individual specialist and small group collective training in Military or First Responder CBRND competencies.
• Demonstrated experience as an individual contributor and potential leader within a small team working across the training lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, coordination and delivery of LAND 2110 group-based training programs.
• Assist with the development, review and maintenance of Learning Management Packages (LMPs) and training materials.
• Develop and maintain training artefacts, SOPs, lesson plans, reference guides and practical training exercises.
• Conduct inspections and operator-level maintenance of CBRND equipment.
• Recommend and implement improvements to training delivery methods, processes and team capability.
• Travel across Australia to support training activities while adhering to safety-critical operational requirements and policies.
