Job summary

Clayton Utz is inviting expressions of interest from law students for casual paralegal opportunities in our Melbourne office. You will gain exposure to a top-tier firm while contributing to a large-scale matter and developing skills alongside industry leaders.

Applicants should be currently studying law, in at least their second year, with a strong academic record. Availability to work at least 4 days per week and immediate start is required, with some Christmas/New Year period work possible and

• Have no planned leave in November or December 2026 (including any clerkship programs).
• Have some availability to work over the Christmas and New Year period (preferred).
• Have minimal planned leave in the first half of 2027.
• Previous work experience in any field is highly regarded.
• Previous paralegal or legal experience is also highly regarded but not essential.
