Job summary

Ravensworth Agriculture is seeking a Livestock Manager to oversee health, welfare and performance of cattle at the Hay feedlot. You will also potentially supervise Ravensworth backgrounding cattle as needed, coordinating with providers and ensuring timely entry dates.

The role requires strong cattle handling, health protocols knowledge and proven leadership of livestock teams, with a focus on accurate record-keeping and compliance across locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day livestock operations of the feedlot.
• Manage and develop the livestock and animal health teams.
• Maintain high standards of animal welfare, stockmanship and safety.
• Oversee cattle inductions, drafting, movements, treatments and dispatch.
• Monitor cattle health, weight gain and performance.
• Coordinate movements between backgrounding properties and the feedlot.
• Maintain accurate livestock records and reports.
