Job summary

The AgWay Recruitment is seeking Pen Riders/Livestock People for a well-run feedlot near Dalby, Queensland. Experience in feedlots is welcome but not essential; candidates comfortable around cattle with a good work ethic will be trained on-site.

Responsibilities include livestock movement, drafting, health monitoring and record-keeping, plus following WHS guidelines. Aroster includes 10/4 or 5/2 with shared accommodation and ongoing training.

• Reliable, consistent and prepared to get in and do the job properly.

Responsibilities

• Pen riding, livestock movements, drafting, induction, processing and hospital treatments
• Monitor cattle health, identify issues early and administer treatments
• Maintain accurate records using feedlot systems
• Work within company procedures and protocols
• Handle cattle using low-stress stock handling principles
• Work safely and in line with WHS requirements
