Job summary

Staff 360 partners with a client operating a large-scale cattle feedlot near Moree, NSW. We are seeking two General Feedlot Labourers and Machinery Operators.

The role centers on feeding (tractor and loader operation, mill work, bunk management) with exposure to pen riding, processing, mustering, fencing and welding. Casual positions on a 10-days-on/4-days-off roster with onsite accommodation and meals (single-person quarters).

Qualifications

• Experience in similar feedlot or livestock roles is desirable.
• Strong cattle handling and calm, patient attitude.
• Ability to operate tractors, front-end loaders and feed wagons.
• Attention to detail and observation skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractors, loaders, water trucks and other machinery.
• Operate feed mill and grain processing equipment.
• Mix and deliver feed to cattle and maintain bunks.
• Clean pens, troughs and bunks daily.
• Draft, weigh and muster cattle; treat sick animals.
• Carry out welding and fencing as required.
• Maintain machinery and equipment; keep feeding records.
• Follow WH&S, QA, Animal Welfare and environmental standards.
