Job summary

St Mary's Primary School Warners Bay is seeking a temporary full-time Classroom Teacher (1 FTE) to join in January 2027 until 18 July 2027 to cover maternity leave. The role supports a Catholic learning community that emphasises academic and spiritual growth within a safe, caring environment.

Applicants should demonstrate a commitment to Catholic Education, effective planning and differentiation, and collaboration with staff and families to sustain quality teaching programs aligned with school

Qualifications

• Hold a four-year teaching qualification and be registered with the NSW/ACT system.
• Active NESA Accreditation is required for teaching in NSW Catholic systemic schools.
• Current NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) is mandatory.
• Completion of anaphylaxis training is required.
• Completion of CPR training is required.

Responsibilities

• Differentiate learning to meet diverse student needs and abilities.
• Plan, prepare and assess teaching programs in nominated areas.
• Use school data to inform instructional decisions and outcomes.
• Collaborate with staff and the community to achieve educational outcomes.
• Promote Catholic ethos and contemporary wellbeing and learning principles.
