Job summary

Damascus College invites applications from suitably qualified Catholic educational leaders for the position of Assistant Principal – Catholic Culture & Junior School. Reporting directly to the Principal, the appointee will provide strategic direction for Catholic Culture and the Junior School (Years 7–8), guiding faith, learning, wellbeing and belonging across the College.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction for the College's Catholic Culture and Junior School (Years 7 & 8) leadership,
• Lead Religious Education, Retreats, Liturgy and Faith Formation initiatives across the College
• Collaborate with the Head of Junior School and Leadership Team to promote faith, learning and belonging
• Utilise student achievement and wellbeing data to inform strategic improvement
• Ensure Junior School students in Years 7 & 8 experience success, resilience and community connection
