Job summary
NSW Health in Sydney is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cath Lab at St Vincent’s Public Hospital. This permanent full-time role covers a Monday to Friday rotating roster with on-call overnights and weekends, based in the Interventional Cardiology Service, Darlinghurst.
You will be an Australian-registered RN (Division 1) with acute care/Cardiac experience, collaborative in a multidisciplinary team, delivering evidence-based nursing care and coordinating with patients and families to achieve
Qualifications
- Currently registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency (APRA).
- Experience in acute care settings such as Cardiac Nursing, Anaesthetic Nursing, operating theatres or other relevant area.
- Demonstrated ability to work within an interdisciplinary team and communicate effectively.
- Proven ability to manage time and prioritise workloads in a complex environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based nursing care in the Cath Lab and coordinate with patients and families.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve patient outcomes.
- Support peri-procedural care across interventional cardiology procedures.
- Prioritise and manage competing workloads in a high-demand setting.
