Job summary

Cater Care Group is hiring a Casual Catering Assistant for our Prairiewood NSW location. You will assist with food preparation and provide friendly meal service to residents and staff, while maintaining kitchen cleanliness and safety.

Ideal candidates have food service experience and strong communication skills, with a willingness to work in a team. Training and benefits are offered as part of the role.

Cater Care is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and reliable Casual Catering Assistant to join the Aged Care/Retirement team at our Prairiewood NSW location. In this position, you will work within a collaborative setting to help provide exceptional meal services for both residents and staff members, positively influencing their daily health and happiness.

Job Description

What This Role Involves:

• Assisting with food preparation
• Customer service - serving our residents meals and snacks
• Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen & dining areas
• Maintaining food hygiene and safety practices
• Fast, effective service throughout busy periods - with a good attitude

Desired Skills and Experience

About You

• Previous experience in food preparation and/or customer service
• Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery highly regarded
• Experience in contract catering, aged care, healthcare, or food service environments is desirable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
