Job summary

Sodexo Bathurst, NSW is seeking a Casual Catering Assistant to support the onsite café and catering services, delivering great service and quality food.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, interact with clients and staff, and help maintain hygiene and efficient operations. A car or reliable transport and Australian work rights are required; previous catering experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Ideally you will have recent experience as a Catering Assistant.
• Knowledge of food service and exposure to a busy commercial kitchen.
• Be able to communicate with staff, management and customers.
• You can work in a fast-paced environment and think on your feet.
• A car and/or reliable transport to site is required.
• Australian work rights.

Responsibilities

• Food preparation and presentation.
• Serving customers and operating POS systems.
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Dishwashing and general kitchen duties.
• Stock replenishment and basic food handling.
• Support the wider catering team as required.
