Job summary

Uniting NSW.ACT is seeking an experienced hospitality assistant for Normanhurst, NSW to provide timely catering services to residents and support their needs. The role requires strong communication and a commitment to resident privacy, with a focus on improving service delivery.

Work is Mon-Thu 3pm–7pm, at the Normanhurst site, offering a supportive team environment, salary packaging options, and opportunities to grow within a leading human services organisation.

Qualifications

• Ideally, you’ll have a Certificate 2 in Hospitality, Aged Care or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Good understanding of Work Health and Safety principles and risk management.
• Ability to be adaptable, empathetic and align with Uniting’s values.

Responsibilities

• Provide catering services to residents in a timely manner.
• Communicate with residents about their requirements and needs.
• Promote residents' rights and privacy.

What You’ll Be Doing In This Role

• You’ll provide catering services to residents in a timely manner.
• Communicate with residents on their requirements and needs
• Promote the rights and privacy of our clients
• Work with continuous improvement of our service to ensure its the best it can be

What do we need you to bring?

Ideally, you’ll have a Certificate 2 in Hospitality, Aged Care or an equivalent qualification. If you’re not currently qualified and would like to be, then we can help you get there.
