We're looking for an experienced Category Manager – Away from Home to join our ANZ Snacking team.
This is not your traditional Category Manager role.
Supporting our Away from Home channel across Petrol & Convenience, Food Service and Global Travel Retail, you'll play a critical role in identifying new growth opportunities, developing channel strategies and bringing innovative ideas to life. This is a highly visible role that combines category management, commercial strategy and project leadership.

You enjoy finding opportunities where others see complexity, turning insights into action and influencing stakeholders through clear recommendations and strong commercial storytelling. You're comfortable working in environments where data isn't always perfect and have the resourcefulness to connect the dots, build a case for change and drive outcomes.
You'll bring:
5+ years' experience in Category Management, Category Development, National Account Management or a related commercial FMCG role
Strong experience using shopper, scan and market data to identify opportunities and influence decisions
Advanced Excel, forecasting and commercial modelling capability
Experience leading category reviews, range recommendations and assortment optimisation initiatives
Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills
Experience supporting innovation launches from concept through to post-launch review
The ability to manage multiple priorities and influence cross-functional teams
7-Eleven, Ampol or BP
Petrol & Convenience channels
Food Service customers
Global Travel Retail
Route-to-market or emerging FMCG channels
Leading customer-facing category reviews, planning days and Joint Business Planning activities
Although reporting into the Category & Marketing function, you will work as an integral member of the AFH Sales team, partnering closely with channel leads and actively participating in customer planning, commercial reviews, team meetings and growth initiatives.
Developing channel-specific category growth strategies
Owning range and assortment recommendations to unlock growth opportunities
Supporting innovation projects through retailer proposition development, forecasting and launch execution
Building business cases and leading initiatives through the NPD Gate process
Identifying trends and opportunities through shopper, customer and market insights
Partnering with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Supply teams to bring ideas to life
Supporting price and promotional optimisation initiatives
Evaluating performance and recommending actions to improve commercial outcomes
You'll be successful in this role if you:
Thrive in fast-paced FMCG environments
Combine analytical rigour with commercial creativity
Are comfortable leading projects and influencing without direct authority
Can translate complex information into clear, actionable recommendations
Enjoy solving problems and identifying growth opportunities
Build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
Take ownership and drive outcomes
