This is a rare opportunity to join a well-established, family-owned independent supermarket group based on the Gold Coast. With a growing network of stores across South East and South West Queensland, this business competes confidently against the major chains by backing experienced people and empowering them to make commercial decisions that matter. This role is ideal for someone who thrives outside heavy corporate structures and wants their experience to translate directly into trading performance.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Owning category strategy end to end across your portfolio
  • Leading supplier negotiations, trading terms and promotional agreements
  • Planning, executing and optimising promotional programs
  • Driving sales growth, GP % and GP $ performance
  • Identifying new income, margin and growth opportunities
  • Using live data and insights to influence fast trading decisions
  • Partnering closely with store teams and internal stakeholders to ensure category plans land effectively in store
