Qualifications
Extensive knowledge of at least one Library Management System (e.g. Sierra, Spydus, Libero, etc.).
Solid understanding of MARC records and metadata standards.
Experience with leading a team.
Experience in managing or troubleshooting EDI and system integrations.
Excellent analytical and communication skills, with great attention to detail.
Ability to document and implement process improvements.
Responsibilities
Lead a team of 10 Cataloguers.
Monitor electronic data transfers and address tech problems.
Create and update cataloguing templates.
Check the quality of cataloguing and document procedural changes.
Find efficiencies in the cataloguing process.
Spot and correct catalogue mistakes.
Answer client questions about cataloguing or library software.
