Job summary

WesTrac is conducting a Drive In Drive Out field service role at Lake Cowal, supporting a mining customer. The position, reporting through the Wagga Wagga Branch, involves working a 2/2 roster with accommodation provided to maintain CAT mining equipment and ensure high availability and safe operations on site.

Qualifications

• Australian-recognised mechanical trade qualification or equivalent.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capability on mining or heavy mobile equipment.
• Experience working on CAT equipment or comparable mining machinery.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting and component replacements on CAT equipment.
• Conduct inspections, diagnostics and quality checks to identify faults and ensure equipment reliability.
• Complete scheduled maintenance and field service activities in line with customer requirements.
• Maintain a safe, organised work environment while collaborating with site staff.
• Provide technical support and professional customer service on-site for WesTrac.
