VetPartners Aberfoyle Hub Vet Clinic in Aberfoyle Park, SA, is seeking a casual Vet Nurse to join our well-established small animal practice. You’ll support vets in surgery and consultations, prepare patients and equipment, monitor anaesthesia, and help deliver compassionate, high-quality care to our loyal client base.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent) is required.
• 1–2 years post-qualification veterinary nursing experience preferred.
• Confidence supporting surgical procedures and monitoring anaesthesia.
• Strong patient care and hospital nursing skills.
• Excellent communication and client service skills.
• A genuine love for animals and the people who care for them.
• A positive, team-first attitude and willingness to support colleagues.
• Ability to remain calm, organised, and professional in a busy clinical environment.
• A passion for continuous learning and contributing to a collaborative team culture.

Responsibilities

• Support vets across surgery and consultations.
• Be a reliable, organised presence in theatre – the vet's trusted third hand.
• Prepare patients and equipment ahead of surgical procedures.
• Monitor anaesthesia and support post-operative recovery.
• Assist with general nursing and day-to-day clinic tasks.
• Run pathology on in clinic IDEXX machines.
• Complete nurse consultations.
• Share your knowledge and experience to help develop others.
• Deliver exceptional care and communication to our loyal client base.
• Work alongside an experienced and supportive veterinary team.
• Casual roster with no after-hours requirements.
