Job summary

St Andrew’s Anglican College – Peregian Beach QLD is seeking a casual College Crossing Supervisor to join our team of friendly Crossing Supervisors from Term 4. You will help keep our students, families and wider College community safe as they arrive and depart each day, with flexible, short hours.

The role focuses on safe crossing procedures, effective communication with children and families, and adherence to safety requirements per DTMR guidelines.

Qualifications

• Blue Card/Working with Children Check required or willingness to obtain.
• Knowledge of safe crossing procedures (provided by DTMR).
• Approved Health check or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Control vehicle and pedestrian movement on internal College roads and approved crossing points.
• Assist pedestrians to safely cross College roads at approved crossing points.
• Monitor and report serious incidents.
• Carry out duties within the parameters of Workplace Health & Safety requirements.
• Identify and make recommendations for changes to standard practices in line with safety rules and regulations.
