M.J. Bale, Australia’s leading gentlemen’s clothier, is seeking a Casual Retail Sales Assistant for Rosebery & Eastern Creek Outlets. Join a brand known for quality tailoring and exceptional service, with incentives and training to grow your retail career across our store network.

You’ll engage customers, help with styling and sizing, and drive sales in a fast-paced outlet environment, including weekends and holiday periods.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, hospitality or customer service roles.

• Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays and peak periods.

Job Description

We're an Australian menswear brand known for quality tailoring, natural fibres and exceptional service. We're also a certified B Corp and Official Tailor to the Australian Test cricket team, the Wallabies and the Socceroos.

About the role

This role is for someone who enjoys the pace of outlet retail, knows how to start a conversation and loves turning great service into a sale.

Your day will include:

• Approaching customers with confidence and energy
• Helping with fit, styling and product selection
• Working towards individual and store sales targets
• Upselling and identifying opportunities to complete the customer's wardrobe
• Building relationships with new and returning customers
• Processing sales and assisting with stock movements
• Keeping the store well stocked and ready for busy trade

About you

You'll bring:

• Retail, hospitality or customer service experience
• Confidence starting conversations and making recommendations
• A strong sales mindset and motivation to achieve targets
• An interest in menswear, fashion and styling
• Reliability, energy and a willingness to get involved
• Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays and peak periods

Menswear experience is an advantage but isn't essential. We're looking for outgoing people who enjoy selling, connect easily with customers and bring energy to the team.
