Job summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a Casual Sales Assistant to support day-to-day store operations across the Peninsula region in Victoria. You will assist with POS operations, donations, visual merchandising, and delivering exceptional customer service in a busy retail environment.

Successful applicants may work across multiple locations, with shifts including weekends. Prior retail or customer service experience is valued, and alignment with our values of integrity and compassion is essential.

Qualifications

• Retail sales experience - highly regarded but not essential
• Strong customer service skills
• Genuine passion and ability to deliver outstanding results

• High energy, hands-on with strong interpersonal and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Retail sales and operation of Point of Sale devices
• Sort, price and prepare donations for sale
• Assist in the development and coordination visual merchandising and store presentation
• Provide exceptional Customer Service
• Display stock in correct departments, following policy and procedure
• Follow Occupational Health and Safety policy and procedures
• Demonstrate TSA core values in all work related activities
