No formal experience required, but reliability, good communication, and a positive attitude are valued; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Friendly and professional communication with customers.
• Reliable, punctual and flexible for casual shifts.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Basic numeracy and accuracy with transactions.
• Willingness to learn about products and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers warmly and providing friendly, knowledgeable assistance with product selection
• Processing transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems
• Restocking shelves and maintaining product displays to ensure the bottlemart is well-organised and visually appealing
• Checking identification when required and ensuring compliance with relevant licensing laws
• Handling cash and card payments securely and accurately
• Answering customer enquiries about products, pricing and availability
• Maintaining a clean and safe shopping environment, including floor and stockroom areas
• Assisting with inventory management and stock rotation
• Supporting promotional activities and point-of-sale displays
• Following company policies and procedures at all times
