Job summary

MyHouse is seeking a motivated retail assistant at its Forster store to deliver outstanding customer experiences and promote our homewares range. You will engage customers at the point of sale and contribute to a vibrant, fast-paced environment.

The successful applicant will have retail and POS experience, strong communication, a pro-active attitude and flexibility for weekends and late trading hours. Generous staff discounts and ongoing product training are offered.

The Role

Reporting to the Store and Assistant Store Manager you will be part of a team to achieve overall success. You will be willing to dive head-first in every aspect of this fast-paced retail environment.

Who You Are

• Retail and Point of Sale experience preferably within the homewares field.
• Demonstrated sales experience.
• Outstanding communication skills as well as a high standard of personal presentation.
• A pro-active and enthusiastic approach to work
• Flexibility to work weekends and late trading hours according to business needs/peak trade periods.
• A passion for the retail industry, customer service and homewares!
