Qualifikationen

• Current Australian registration as a Registered Nurse (AHPRA General registration required).
• Experience in general practice, community health, or primary care preferred.
• Competence in immunisation delivery, wound management, and routine clinical procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centred approach.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records and basic computer skills for clinical documentation.
• Ability to work independently within scope of practice and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Current CPR certificate, Victorian Working with Children Check, and up-to-date vaccinations as per practice policy.

Aufgaben

• Provide clinical nursing services including wound care, immunisations, ear syringing, and health assessments.
• Support chronic disease management programs for conditions such as diabetes, asthma, COPD, and cardiovascular disease.
• Perform procedures under nurse-led clinics, including dressings, point-of-care testing, and ECGs.
• Administer vaccinations in accordance with National Immunisation Program guidelines and practice protocols.
• Prepare patients for GP consultations, take accurate histories, and document clinical findings in electronic medical records.
• Deliver health education, lifestyle counselling, and support for preventative care initiatives.
• Maintain infection control, occupational health, and safety standards within the practice.
• Collaborate with administrators and allied health professionals to streamline patient flow and clinic efficiency.
