Job summary

Gwydir Shire Council is seeking enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join our team as Casual Pool Lifeguards at Bingara and Warialda swimming pools. You will patrol to ensure patron safety, maintain a friendly professional presence, and work weekends and evenings during pool hours.

These are casual positions with short-notice cover. You may be required to undertake a NSW Lifeguard Certificate (you must be 16 years plus to undertake training).

Qualifications

• NSW Lifeguard Certificate (you must be 16 years plus to undertake this training).

Responsibilities

• Proactively patrolling the pool areas to ensure patron safety and reduce potential risks and hazards.
• Maintaining a friendly and professional presence, with a strong focus on customer service.
• Being flexible and available to work weekends, evenings and shifts during pool opening hours.
