Job summary

Respect Group seeks a Casual Personal Care Assistant for Cedar Place, Kempsey, NSW 2440. You will provide person-centred care to residents, supporting independence and wellbeing in a warm, not-for-profit aged care home.

The role involves assisting with personal care, mobility, meals, and daily activities, and requires teamwork with nurses and carers. Availability for flexible casual shifts, including weekends, is needed.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent.
• Experience in aged care is desirable.
• Current National Police Check and relevant vaccinations (or willingness to obtain).
• NDIS Worker Check (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including showering, dressing and grooming.
• Support residents with mobility and safe manual handling.
• Assist with meals, hydration and daily living activities.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families.
