Job summary

MACSEYE (Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools Early Years Education) – Mentone VIC is seeking casual OSHC Educators to join a child-centred team. You’ll design safe, engaging spaces and lead hands-on activities before and after school, working around your availability.

As part of a supportive, collaborative team, you’ll help nurture children’s wellbeing and growth while developing your skills through training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for working with children.
• Warm, collaborative approach with strong communication skills.
• Cert III (or higher) in an ACECQA recognised qualification (or currently studying).
• Valid First Aid, CPR, WWCC, and Australian work rights (or able to obtain these).

Responsibilities

• Create safe, inspiring spaces where children feel secure and supported.
• Plan engaging hands-on activities that spark curiosity and imagination.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Support wellbeing and growth of each child’s social and emotional development.
• Collaborate with the team to co-create programs reflecting children's ideas.
