Job summary

YMCA Victoria invites applications for Casual Educators to support OSHC sessions at Ashburton Pool & Recreation Centre and Boroondara Sports Complex in Melbourne. The role covers Before and After School Care and School Holiday programs with shifts from 6:30am to 6:30pm during school holidays (4–22 January).

You will deliver engaging activities for children, work with a Coordinator, and collaborate with families and school communities to ensure a safe, positive program experience.

Qualifications

• ACEQCA-approved qualification required or pursued.
• First Aid in an Education & Care Setting certificate or equivalent.
• Victorian Working with Children’s Check required.
• Mandatory reporting training (Protecting Children) and Foundation training.
• National child safety training completed or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Before and After School Care sessions and School Holiday programs.
• Engage with and support children, families and the school community.
• Work with OSHC team and a Coordinator to deliver quality care.
• Assist with program setup, rostering and safety procedures.
