Job summary

Uniting is seeking casual Care Assistants in Berry, NSW to provide care, companionship and support to residents in our aged care home. You’ll help with daily living, mobility, and participate in activities to enhance quality of life.

Night shift availability is preferred. You’ll hold a Certificate III/IV in Aged Care or equivalent and bring experience in aged or community care, or a passion to start a career in this field. A supportive, inclusive team environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Certificate III/IV in Aged Care or equivalent.
• Experience in aged or community care.
• Adaptable, empathetic and resourceful.

Responsibilities

• Provide care, companionship and emotional support to residents.
• Assist with daily living activities such as showering, personal hygiene, dressing and meals.
• Assist with medication and simple wound dressings.
• Support residents in community-based recreational and social activities.
