Job summary

Medical & Aged Care Group (MACG) invites a skilled Night Duty Registered Nurse to join Cheltenham Manor in Melbourne’s southeast. You will deliver safe, person‑centred care overnight, lead a care team, and support residents with comprehensive clinical assessments and medication management.

As a valued member of a proud, family‑owned provider, you’ll contribute to high standards, engage with GPs and allied health, and mentor ENs/PCWs while maintaining strict documentation and quality practices.

Qualifications

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA (Required).
• Experience in aged care or a comparable clinical environment.
• Knowledge of clinical assessment, decision making and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Deliver person-centred nursing care in line with individual care plans and assessments.
• Undertake comprehensive clinical assessments (physical, mental and emotional).
• Administer medications safely and accurately in line with policy.
• Monitor residents’ health and respond promptly to changes in condition.
• Manage wound care, infections, chronic disease and end of life care.
• Develop, review and evaluate resident care plans.
• Maintain accurate, timely and compliant clinical documentation.
• Supervise ENs and PCWs, delegating tasks appropriately.
• Liaise with GPs and families.
• Identify, manage and report incidents, hazards and risks.
• Participate in audits and quality improvement.
