Job summary

John Sands Group is seeking a Casual Merchandiser to join the North Ryde/Macquarie area team. The role is 8 hours per week, typically Monday and Thursday, reporting to the Merchandising Manager.

You will stock and tidy accounts, implement planograms, and set up seasonal displays while liaising with store management. Previous Merchandiser experience is advantageous but not required; full training will be provided.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure shelves are fully stocked and displays are tidy to maximise sales.
• Place re-orders for products as needed.
• Set up displays using planograms and related POS materials.
• Install seasonal displays and refresh as required.
• Liaise with store owners/management about displays.
• Remove damaged merchandise promptly.
• Participate in installations and revamps as required.
• Identify additional sales opportunities.

Reporting to the Merchandising Manager this is a CasualMerchandiser position located in the North Ryde / Macquarie area 8 hrs per wk. usually on a Monday and Thursday

Your duties will include but not be limited to:

• Ensuring accounts are fully stocked and tidy to maximise customers sales
• Placing re-orders for product
• Using planograms to set up displays and related point of sale materials
• Setting up seasonal displays
• Liaising with owners / store management regarding displays
• Removing all damaged merchandise
• Participating in installations and revamps when required
• Identifying additional sales opportunities

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A current drivers licence and reliable motor vehicle
• Daily access to a computer andthe Internet
• Whilst previous experience as a Merchandiser is advantageous, it is not mandatory as full training will be provided for the right person. The successful applicant will be well rewarded for their initiative and contribution to the team.
