Zusammenfassung

Quantum Medical Imaging is seeking AHPRA-registered doctors to join our casual contrast cover pool across Browns Plains, Loganholme, Victoria Point and Rochedale clinics. The role is on-site and standby-based, designed to fit around existing hospital, GP or private practice commitments.

Earn $100 per hour with a $50 travel allowance. This casual pool offers genuine flexibility with shifts allocated in advance and fortnightly payments. ALS2 and comprehensive medical indemnity are required.

Qualifikationen

• Current, active AHPRA registration.
• Appropriate clinical experience and competence to independently manage contrast reactions, including anaphylaxis.
• Comprehensive medical indemnity insurance.
• Current ALS2 certification.
• Completion of on-site emergency trolley and clinic induction (refresh every six months).

Aufgaben

• Remain on-site and available throughout contrast administration.
• Respond to and manage contrast reactions, including anaphylaxis, per clinical guidelines.
• Check location and readiness of the emergency trolley at shift start.
• Complete incident documentation after any adverse event.
• Assist radiographers with difficult cannulations when requested.
• Support CTCA service by assessing patient vitals and prescribing oral beta blockers and GTN per cardiologist protocols.
