As a Kitchen Hand, you will play a vital role in supporting our culinary operations, ensuring our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently whilst maintaining the highest standards of food preparation and hygiene.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen or food preparation is desirable.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Able to work efficiently in a busy environment.
• Reliable and punctual with casual shift flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and organising ingredients for cooking and food service.
• Cleaning and sanitising kitchen equipment, utensils and work surfaces to maintain health and safety standards.
• Assisting chefs with food preparation tasks including chopping, peeling and basic food assembly.
• Managing kitchen waste and ensuring proper disposal procedures are followed.
• Loading and operating dishwashers and maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen.
• Supporting food service by organising plates and containers for meal delivery.
• Restocking kitchen supplies and monitoring inventory levels.
• Following all food safety regulations and company hygiene policies.
• Responding to changing demands during service periods and assisting team members as needed.
