Job summary

PLC Perth in Western Australia is inviting applications for casual Relief Teachers and Education Assistants to support Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6 students. You will assist with classroom activities, supervise learners and help maintain a positive learning environment across the Junior School.

The successful candidate will hold relevant teaching qualifications and TRBWA registration, with a warm, patient approach and strong teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications and TRBWA registration for teachers.
• Experience working with Junior School age children in school or education settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to adapt to different classrooms.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom activities and learning programmes.
• Provide individual and small-group support to students.
• Set up, prepare and organise classroom resources and materials.
• Manage classroom routines, transitions and supervision.
• Undertake other duties as directed by the Head of Junior School.
