Lady Davidson Private Hospital in North Turramurra seeks a casual Counsellor to join the Allied Health team. You will provide inpatients and day-patient counselling, apply evidence-based practices, and engage in program development alongside an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Appropriate tertiary counsellor qualification is required.
• Minimum 1 year post-graduate hospital experience preferred.
• Current registration with AHPRA is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Good organisational and time management skills are necessary.
• Evidence of participation in continuing education is expected.
• Familiarity with Quality Improvement and OH&S / Infection Control policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive counselling to inpatients and day patients.
• Deliver clinical services related to assessment, treatment planning and evidence-based practice.
• Participate in program development and quality improvement activities.
• Attend multidisciplinary meetings and professional development activities.
