Minor Hotels – Perth is expanding its housekeeping team with casual opportunities. We are looking for dedicated, detail‑oriented individuals who take pride in delivering exceptional guest experiences. You’ll be part of a team focused on high cleanliness standards and guest satisfaction.

Shifts are rotating Monday to Sunday, with start times between 8:00am and 9:00am. Prior housekeeping experience is valued, and there is training provided to ensure safety and product knowledge.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards.
• Basic understanding of safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment (training provided).
• Good physical fitness with ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• Professional and clear communication with guests and colleagues.
• Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean guest rooms including beds, floors, and bathrooms to a pristine standard.
• Complete cleaning tasks efficiently within allocated hours.
• Collaborate with team to meet daily targets and goals.
• Adhere to safety protocols and environmental standards.

Job Description

Oaks Perth Hotelis excited to expand our housekeeping department, with multiple casual opportunitiesnow available.

We’re looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individuals who take pride in their work and are committed to providing an exceptional guest experience. If you’re energetic, have a keen eye for detail, and thrive in a team-oriented environment, we’d love to have you on board!

About the job:

• Maintain high standards by thoroughly cleaning guest rooms, including making beds with precision, vacuuming floors, andcleaning bathrooms to ensure a pristine environment.
• Complete cleaning tasks efficiently within the hours allocated by the company.
• Collaborating with team members to meet daily cleaning targets and operational goals.
• Adhering to safety protocols and environmental standards.
• Using specialised cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively - with all training and tools provided.
• Building strong, professional relationships with team members, guests, and contractors to help foster a positive, respectful work environment.

Shift Details(subject to change):

• Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday
• Shifts starting between 8:00am and 9.00am

Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation):

Monday - Friday: $33.85 per hour

Saturday: $40.62 per hour

Sunday: $47.39 per hour

Qualifications

Successful candidates will have:

• Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles will be highly regarded.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Basic understanding of safe handling and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment (training will be provided).
• Good physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Professional and clear communication skills to interact with guests, team members, and contractors.
• Strong time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
• A positive and proactive attitude with a strong work ethic.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
