Chisholm Institute invites applications for a Casual Teacher – Hospitality. You will deliver professional teaching and vocational expertise across planning, delivery and assessment to achieve strong learner outcomes and community impact.

You will deliver planned sessions using innovative methods and technology (including Moodle), liaising with employers and education partners to explore pathways, while maintaining currency and contributing to professional development within the institute.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) or equivalent meeting 2025 standards.
• AQF level 4+ vocational qualifications relevant to teaching level.
• Registration with relevant professional bodies/associations as required for the discipline.
• Ability to quickly develop rapport with students from diverse backgrounds in a collaborative environment.
• Strong understanding of educational administration tools and practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan education practices and delivery sessions that engage learners.
• Develop and deliver planned teaching sessions using innovative methods and Moodle.
• Liaise with employers, schools and other education providers to explore learner pathways.
• Implement Chisholm’s Educational Excellence Framework in teaching and learning.
• Maintain professional development and develop annual PD plans in line with policy.
